Trinity Hospital New Beginnings Center
Heavener & Associates’ completion of Community Healthcare System’s 20,000‐square‐foot Trinity Hospital New Beginnings Center brought the latest in technology and medical care for childbirth. Hill‐Rom (medical headwall supplier) flew Heavener and the Hospital’s Representatives to their manufacturing plant where they discussed the best Headwall units for Trinity Hospital. One feature of the end product allows the ability for military personnel to be a part of the delivery of their children even if deployed overseas.
The guts of this project consisted of the removal of two massive air handler units located in the penthouse of the hospital. Great communications helped expedite the replacement of every hydronic piped VAV box throughout the semi occupied area. This allows for better air quality and ultimately a better experience for Trinity’s patients.
The wow factor for Trinity’s New Beginnings Center came from a team of dedicated individulas. H&A is pleased to have been a part of this team and would like to note several key members included: Jason Studley (CEO Trinity Hospital), Bill Welsh (Director of Plant Operations Trinity Hospital), Megan Freedman (CNO Trinity Hospital), Jeff Synan (Materials Mangager Trinity Hospital), Nick Dickinson and Andrea Griffin (Dickinson Architects). These individuals inspire the people around them.
